Create Dashboard Prompt from two different Subject Areas



Create Dashboard Prompt from two different Subject Areas


1.       Click on New and then Dashboard Prompt
 

1.       Choose any one subject area from select subject area list.
 


 
1.       Click on “column Prompt” to add column from one subject area.

 

1.       Click on + sign to add more subject area.

 
 
1.       Add/Remove Subject area window will appear from that click on check as you want another subject area.

 

1.       In that way both subject areas will appear. From that you can choose any column from any column by selecting column and click on “OK” button.

    How to set a common prompt for 2 different subject areas in a dashboard.

    I created an analysis usingPayables Invoices Transactions Real time
    Another analysis using Procurement Purchasing Real time

    These two subject areas have a common field "Supplier"

    I tried creating a prompt using "Supplier" with Payables subject area
    And in my dashboard I was able to see that the prompt sorted data only for that analysis and not for Purchasing analysis.
    Could you tell me what i missed?
